Is my personal information collected when I tap?

Viewing a receipt requires no registration, no login and no personal details. You never tell us who you are, and the shop never finds out.

There's a Privacy Policy link at the bottom of every receipt, under "Powered by ReceiptWave", which explains this in full.

We do store a random code on your device so the page can recognise the same phone coming back. It is not linked to your name, your email or your card, and it is not shared with anyone. It is how any stamps you have collected stay attached to your phone until you install the app. You can remove it by clearing cookies and site data for this website — that does not delete your receipts.

Receipt pages don't use tracking cookies that follow you across other websites, and there are no third-party ads or trackers on the page.
