How do receipts get into my app?

Receipts arrive by tapping — the same tap you'd do without the app. With the app installed, the receipt opens in the app and files itself into your Receipts tab automatically.

Pay at the counter as usual.
Unlock your phone and tap it on the shop's ReceiptWave stand.
The app opens with "Getting your receipt…" and your receipt appears — done. It's now saved in your Receipts tab.

Tips

There's no manual add or photo upload — every receipt comes from a tap, so it's always the real, itemised record from the till.
If the app says "No receipt found", ask staff to resend it, then tap again.
Not signed in yet? The tap still opens your receipt — you don't have to sign in first. It isn't saved to a Receipts list until you sign in, so sign in when you have a moment and keep every receipt you tap from then on.
If a receipt link says "Receipt not found", tap Go to home, then tap the stand again or ask the business.
Accidentally tapping twice won't create duplicates — the second tap just opens the receipt you already got.
Tapping the same stand again on a later visit works normally and gives you that visit's receipt.
If a tap ever seems to hang, close the screen and tap again — you won't end up with two receipts.
