The Messages tab collects the offers, news and events sent by the businesses you follow and have allowed to message you. Use the All and Offers filters at the top to see just the deals.
You choose which shops can reach you. Offers and news appear only from shops you've allowed — with Offers and news from shops in Profile → Preferences, or with Allow on one of that shop's receipts. Turn offers off, or stop one shop's messages, and their messages leave your Messages tab straight away, including ones they sent earlier. Nothing is deleted: allow offers again and anything still current comes back.
To claim an offer:
Tap the offer message, then tap Claim offer. On the offer screen, tap Claim this offer at the bottom of the screen.
You'll see "Offer claimed" with a claim code in a dashed box. Done at the bottom takes you back.
Show that code at the counter when you pay — staff redeem it on the spot.
