My stand isn't working — how do I check it?

The app has a built-in stand tester that tells you in seconds whether the stand is the problem.

1. Go to More → NFC stands → Test a stand.
2. Hold your phone on the stand. You'll get a clear verdict: "This stand is yours and active" (all good), "This stand is yours but inactive" (tap Activate), "This stand belongs to another business", "Stand not found", or "Not a ReceiptWave stand".
3. If the stand reads fine but customers still struggle, it's usually technique: phone unlocked, top of the phone, flat against the centre, within 2 cm, held for a second.
