How do I download my receipts as a spreadsheet?
Updated 27 September 2026
You can download a list of the receipts ReceiptWave issued for you as a CSV file, which opens in any spreadsheet and can go to your accountant. Dates and times in the file are your store's local time, the same as on your receipts.
- Sign in to the portal and choose Reports → Export. (If you're closing your account, the closure screen has a download button that opens the same page.)
- Pick a range with Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Year to date, or type your own dates. Both dates are included, and they're your store's days.
- Select Download CSV.
What's in the file
- Date and Time are your store's local time. The last column, Timezone, shows which timezone was used. If your store's timezone isn't set, times are in UTC and that column says UTC.
- Total is what the customer paid.
- Tax shows GST only where the receipt we issued also shows it — that is, where the receipt was a tax invoice. Everywhere else the Tax cell is blank, and Amount is the same as Total.
- TaxInvoice says Yes or No, so you can see why a Tax cell is blank.
- PosReportedTax shows the tax your point-of-sale recorded for the sale, whether or not the receipt was a tax invoice, so you and your accountant can check it against your own records.
