Finish the mow with a clear record

For customers paying in person, ReceiptWave makes it easy to collect a digital receipt before you leave. They can choose to follow your business for seasonal availability or a prompt to arrange another visit — while the next booking stays in your schedule, where weather and route can be taken into account.

1 · What changes at the job

Take payment through Square as you do now. The customer taps the portable ReceiptWave stand to collect a receipt carrying your business details, the work, GST and your ABN — no receipt book in the ute. Where the customer is not home, use the supported remote receipt route. Customers who choose to follow you can be sent availability manually.

Connect ReceiptWave to Square to add tap-to-collect receipts and customer follow-up.

Setup takes under five minutes: connect your Square account, and connected sales flow through to ReceiptWave. Nothing changes at the till — staff take payment exactly as they do now.

2 · What to switch on, in this order

Feature Why it matters here Do this
Digital receipt One tap after payment on a portable stand. No receipt book, no faded dockets. Keep the stand in the ute.
Correct tax detail Your business details, the work performed and the tax treatment applied by Square. Enter your ABN on day one.
Following and availability Customers who choose to follow you can be sent seasonal availability, manually. Send at the start of a season.

3 · First action, and how to measure it

What the subscription needs to earn

The main value here is administration: measure minutes spent writing and reissuing receipts, and the value you assign to that time.

No payback figure is published: job contribution needs labour, travel, fuel and equipment costs, which vary by round.
