Keep the relationship after the detail

Give customers a digital receipt they can keep and an easy way to follow your detailing business. Share a relevant maintenance service or availability update with a clear route to book, and set any upgrade offer around the vehicle’s needs and the extra time and materials involved.

1 · What changes at the job

Take payment through Square as you do now. The customer taps the portable ReceiptWave stand to collect a receipt carrying your business details, the service performed, GST and your ABN. A reward stamp is applied to eligible services from the connected sale, and you can add a coupon that is redeemed with a scan. Customers who choose to follow you can be sent availability manually.

Connect ReceiptWave to Square to add tap-to-collect receipts and customer follow-up.

Setup takes under five minutes: connect your Square account, and connected sales flow through to ReceiptWave. Nothing changes at the till — staff take payment exactly as they do now.

2 · What to switch on, in this order

Feature Why it matters here Do this
Digital receipt One tap after payment on a portable stand. No printer in the van, no paper in the wet. Keep the stand with your terminal.
Upgrade coupon A defined offer on the next service tier, redeemed with a scan. Price it against labour time.
Reward and following Stamps on eligible services, and availability sent to customers who choose to follow you. Keep the reward consistent.

3 · First action, and how to measure it

What the subscription needs to earn

Illustration: if a job contributes $126 after costs, one additional job a month would cover $15 — about 12% of a job, not a tenth.

Assumption: $180 average job at 70% contribution, before the cost of any upgrade offer.
