Give your regulars a reason to return
Keep the morning queue moving and make the next visit easy. After payment, the customer taps the ReceiptWave stand to collect their digital receipt, and can choose to follow your café for a new menu item or a quieter-day offer.
- 90-day free trial for founding merchants
- No credit card required
- No lock-in contract
1 · What changes at your counter
Take payment through Square as you do now. The customer taps the ReceiptWave stand to collect a receipt carrying your logo, itemised lines, GST and your ABN — nothing to ask for, nothing to type. On the same receipt they can choose to follow your café, and a stamp is applied to eligible purchases.
Connect ReceiptWave to Square to add tap-to-collect receipts and customer follow-up.
Setup takes under five minutes: connect your Square account, and connected sales flow through to ReceiptWave. Nothing changes at the till — staff take payment exactly as they do now.
2 · What to switch on, in this order
| Feature | Why it matters here | Do this |
|---|---|---|
| Digital receipt | One tap after payment. No paper docket, and no asking for an email or mobile number mid-queue. | Put the stand beside the terminal. |
| Reward card | Stamps are applied from the connected sale, on the products you choose to make eligible. | Set eligible items and the reward. |
| Following and offers | Customers who choose to follow you can be sent an offer on a quieter day. You send it manually, at the moment you choose. | Invite; do not assume. |
3 · First action, and how to measure it
- Trial one reward with clear terms. Name the eligible products, sizes and the reward, so one basket cannot quietly earn three stamps.
- Take a baseline, then measure separately. Record repeat purchases for two weeks before you send anything, then track receipts collected, follows and repeat purchases over four weeks.
What the subscription needs to earn
Illustration: if an additional sale contributes $6.30 after variable costs and any reward given, three additional sales would cover the $15 monthly subscription.
Assumption: $9 average sale at 70% contribution — substitute your own. A discount on a visit that would have happened anyway is a cost, not uplift.
$15 / month + GST after the 90-day free trial. No lock-in contract.
