Tell regulars what is still fresh
When the morning rush ends, good stock can still be left in the cabinet. Customers tap to collect their receipt and can choose to follow your bakery, so you can send a relevant afternoon offer when there is genuine surplus — with a quantity limit and a collection time.
- 90-day free trial for founding merchants
- No credit card required
- No lock-in contract
1 · What changes at your counter
Take payment through Square as you do now. The customer taps the ReceiptWave stand to collect a receipt carrying your logo, itemised lines, GST and your ABN. A reward stamp is applied to eligible purchases from the connected sale, so there is no paper card. Customers who choose to follow you can be sent an afternoon offer — you send it manually, after checking what is actually left.
Connect ReceiptWave to Square to add tap-to-collect receipts and customer follow-up.
Setup takes under five minutes: connect your Square account, and connected sales flow through to ReceiptWave. Nothing changes at the till — staff take payment exactly as they do now.
2 · What to switch on, in this order
| Feature | Why it matters here | Do this |
|---|---|---|
| Digital receipt | One tap after payment. No paper docket, nothing to ask for in a queue. | Put the stand beside the terminal. |
| Reward card | Stamps are applied from the connected sale, on the products you choose to make eligible. | Set eligible items and the reward. |
| Surplus offers you send | Check the cabinet, then send your followers an offer with a quantity limit and a collection time. | Try it on your worst waste day. |
3 · First action, and how to measure it
- Compare leftover units on similar days. Send only when there is real surplus, or you will train customers to wait.
- Keep surplus recovery in its own column. A recovered tray needs its own price and fulfilment cost.
What the subscription needs to earn
Illustration: if a sale contributes $6.60 after costs, three additional sales a month would cover $15.
Assumption: $11 average sale at 60% contribution, before the discount on any surplus offer.
$15 / month + GST after the 90-day free trial. No lock-in contract.
